I wanted a way to remember my dogs that was different from painted pictures or photographs. The dog listed below is not for sale. He is one of our pets named Abe that I made a relief of so we could always remember him. He is an akita mix. We rescued him from a local shelter and he has been the perfect dog for our family. I have also included below the two pictures of Abe that I used to create his relief.

Your relief will be a custom likeness of the head and partial chest of your precious pet. All of the wool used in the sculpture comes from our sheep.

Each sculpture takes many hours to create. My reliefs are entirely handmade. The white background is wet felted and the relief itself is dry felted. The background measures approximately 13 x 15 inches. The relief itself measures approximately 10 by 11 inches. It has a wooden tapestry hanger measuring 2 x 16 to display your one of a kind relief of your favorite pet.

The sculpture is intended as an adult collector's piece and not a child's toy.

I would be happy to make a relief for you. I make my reliefs from the pictures that you send me. I need two high resolution photograph that are clear showing a detailed front facing view and side view. They can be either emailed or sent through the postal service. Please make sure that the color of your pet is clear.

They would look great hanging in your home or office and make great gifts for those pet lovers in your life.
